Members of Whitney Young Dolphins Making a Difference adhere to the belief that a quality education has an immeasurable impact on a child’s life.
For this reason, WYDMAD chose to form a school-based mentoring program for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Our mentors will provide students with academic support and character development education. In addition, WYDMAD will be supporting the social and academic growth of current Whitney Young students starting this fall. We will use these programs to instill a spirit of excellence in the children we serve. Our ultimate goal is to see our children become vehicles of change in their homes, their schools, and their communities.
WYDMAD is in need of volunteers who want to help further our cause. If you are willing to answer this call, please visit our Join Us page to become a part of this organization.
